Report an Error Button
Members of KAREA, OREB, RCREB, and RSLREB can submit potential MLS® listing data integrity issues by using the ‘Report an Error’ button found in Matrix™ and REALM™.
If you identify a potential MLS® Listing Data Integrity issue on another Eastern Regional Member’s listing, please complete the ‘Report an Error’ form. This will be forwarded to board staff for review.
If you receive an email from datachecker@oreb.ca regarding a potential data infraction on one of your listings, please either update the listing accordingly or reply to the email if you feel you are not in violation of the MLS® rule. Failure to respond to this email may result in a referral to the Professional Standards Roster for review and a fine.
Here is an example of an email you may receive from datachecker@oreb.ca regarding a potential listing infraction.

Please note that the ‘Report an Error’ form is specifically for addressing MLS® listing data integrity issues. For complaints regarding a listing or Member, you can file a formal complaint with the board’s Professional Standards Department.
Board staff are permitted to enforce PropTx MLS® rules only for listings from the following eastern boards: KAREA, OREB, RCREB, and RSLREB. For potential MLS® rule violations involving a listing from a Member of another board, you must submit a formal complaint directly to that board.
Positioning REALTORS® as reliable and trustworthy experts in the eyes of clients and the public.
